Camp Pyramid 2006

juz back from Tao Nan P4 Camp ytd..
i rly did not regret going for e camp n if i have a choice to go agn i will..

fri night we GFs checked in at 7.30pm n we prepared all e landyards identitied for e kids..
i'm from Luxor House which is orange colour. each house there's 5 sub-grps. so we bought ribbon n wrote Luxor on it for e kids la..
we also practiced all e cheers n all so we cn teach e kids lo..
n i dunno y i cnt fall aslp on fri night. maybe excited or wat. i think every1 also. lolx..

finally e day for e camp started..
7.30 we GFs went to e foyer to meet e kids. dis is when i 1st met my Lupus grp..
i was supposed to take Lokar at 1st but coz my partner has his cousin in it so we had to change. but it's okiez..
it was so fun la to see all e kids strangers to us at 1st. n den we took attendance n all. can see alot of parents crowd ard e foyer..
den we did some ice breaking. n noe wat? juz 1 hr aft e camp started e boys in Lupus started quarreling. oh man! i was like headache la..
coz there's dis 2 boys who r v v v v naughty n they dun1 2 coorperate. n many of them dun1 2 listen. matthew my partner n i were like dunno wat to do..
anw aft tt they were scolded by e teacher but i dun think it helped..
aft tt went dragon boating..
so funny la to see e kids peddle e boat without coordination. haha..
too bad i dun get to get down coz no more space so some of us can only sit there for 1hr plus n waited for e kids..

i realised now adays kids r rly pampered..
1 gal in my grp even told me tt she changed 5 hps already. i was like wao! p4 only n she changed 5hps. they got hp when they were in P1..
haiyo. P1 need wat hp..
n ya they like to complain abt e food. especially during breakfast we r most headache..
some of my kids said "hey i dun like kaya n butter. i dun1 2 eat. i 1 bee hoon!" haha..
some obedients 1 they ate la but almost half complained..

n ya shower time..
dis time they r not allowed to shower alone. they had mass bathing..
meaning rite example for my grp i asked e gals to get into grps of 2s or 3s den they wld go into 1 cubical n we hosed them..
coz if we let them to bath on their own they wld take their own sweet time la so no choice..
i quite pity them coz christina n i kept on shouting at them to be quick..
but like dis is faster la..

during night walk e kids in my grp were so funny..
we had to bring them to east coast park n looked for stations ma..
n u noe in ECP there's always many couples at night mm u noe wat. haha..
den whenever my kids saw a couple mm kissing or watever they wld shine their touchlights on them lo. n they wld tell each other "hey see there! they r kissing! eeee!" lolx..
non stop n not tired 1 leh looking at couples. but they complained alot tt they r tired n especially e guys. wherever n whenever they r always e slowest..
asked them y they said "coz gals always go shopping ma so they can walk alot n not tired" haha. nice excuse ah..

oh ya n i sort of got "molested by e gals". they like to touch me alot especially 1 la. for e whole 3 days i miscount on how many times i got touched by her la..
nw when some1 touches me i wld like abit scared n wld remind me of her la. haha..

but i think e best part was during campfire. usually they were v naughty n wonder ard. but dis time our Luxor kids were v coorperative. they rly shouted v loud during their performance. lolx. so proud of them..
mm n ya for e overall house champ Luxor was 1st la. but it doesn't matter la as long as e kids r happy..

i think e most terrible n headache part of e camp was to ask them line up in 2s n do headcount..
i dunno do how many times of headcount from 1-18 le. n everytime there's missing kids i wld noe it's e usual kids. haha..
e gals r generally v guai la except super talketive. lots of qns from them n i always cnt finish my sentence. lolx..
n also i haf to repeat my instructions so many times coz my voice too soft le. but i already tried my best to shout v loud le leh..
e boys rite mm super naughty n slow. still cnt figure out y they r always slower den e gals. haha..
but there's 1 boy in my grp whom i admire. as in not tt kind of admire la it's i respect him..
coz he has some difficulties in walking maybe due to some medical conditions but he's e only 1 in my grp who nv complain anything. not even a single word. rly no lie hor..
when we went for nighthike every1 complained tt they r tired but he's e only 1 continue walking n walk w me at e back n tok to me..
when i asked them to do area cleaning most wld fake abit n walked off but he wld juz take a clothe n wiped e table. so guai rite..
i also noe tt he is a swimmer in e Tao Nan School Team. he wanted to join e wat tri-marathon which like running cycling n swmming but coz got camp so he missed it..
i rly learn alot from him lo. only 10yrs old n he is already so mature..

oh ya n e gals like to pester me for my hp no n email add. but i only give them email la..
P4 n they already had blogs. haiyo. haha..

although they r v naughty at times, actually they r v cute..
i rly love being w them n now whenever i see kids i wld think of them..
oh ya n i think i was rly terrorised by e kids le..
ytd night when i was slping at home i dreamt of e kids running ard. den i suddenly shouted "hey dun run ard!" while i was still slping lo coz i dreamt of shouting tt sentence in my dream. so i slept shouted out. n when i opened my eyes i found myself kneeling down on e bed lo. so scary. den my mum was so shock la..
haha den i was still half conscious n den said sry to my mum n went back to slp..
