yeah here to share my wonderful experience ytd..
i toured e whole of Singapore!

ah actually its an overnight cycling event..
organised by nchs alumni..
to colaborate w nchs 60th anniversary next yr..
so ytd was a trial run..
e actual day would be on 8th of March 2007 i guess..

aaron wendy n me went ytd..
we met at e busstop at 3pm..
den went nan chiau pri sch to gather..
at 1st i was still thinking who would be there too..
den i almost got a "shock" la..
only 4 of us in e whole grp graduated from e same yr..
n we were e youngest..
most of them who went ytd were e old gals n boys..
who graduated like 20 30yrs ago..
haha so almost all were aunties n uncles..
we were still thinking we came to e wrong place..

den briefing started..
total ard 32 ppl..
we were divided into diff grps..
juz nice aaron wendy me and an old gal of nan chiau
plus a driver were in a grp..
e driver is to drive us ard in his car..
we went ard singapore. in bicycle..
total 60 stations..
coz 60th anniversary ma..
its a relay system b/w grps la..
so when ur grp's turn to cycle..
other grps car would take turn to protect u..
okiez nvm..
v difficult to explain..

we started e journey at 7pm ytd..
they planned to finish e whole estimated 132km journey by 10am dis morn..
but guess wat?
we finished it by 5am!
wao tt's 5hrs earlier lo..
it was v fun..
we rly went ard singapore..
total 6 bicycles on e road..
4 of e cyclists r those v pro uncles..
they love cycling..
n e 4 of them cycled e whole 132km..
e other 2 bicycles r for us to take turns..

we started of from ncps..
den went to old tampines road..
pasir ris..
i forgot e sequence but i rmb e place..
we also went past amk..
yishun. bishan. sembawang. vivocity..
woodlands. kimyan road..
limchukang cemetry also n many many more..
oh ya abt dis place..
actually most of e times we were in e car..
coz so many ppl had to share 2 bicycles..
den we had to travel to limchukang cemetry..
its quite scary. esp its like 2am in e morn..
e whole stretch of road ard more den 10km there's not a soul in sight..
no ppl. no cars except ours..
infront of us is juz a stretch of road like no ending..
imagine e cyclists had to cycle pass there..
though there's cars to protect them..
but i must still say they r v brave..
oh ya n we cycled on road not on pathment..

in btw journey we stopped to eat n rest la..
stopped at mac twice n eat e same meal..
e uncles n aunties r v nice..
they treated us..
coz they say we r not working yet..
haiyo..
den we also stopped at e 5 diff hokkien huay guan pri sch..
to take pics..
oh ya. e chairman of e alumni was maria ytd..
she prepared hot drinks buns n many food for us..
den in btw stops she kept on asked us to eat..
still feed me somemore. haha..

anw i cycled only ard 10km..
actually shdn't be tt much but we cycled e wrong route..
so cycled more..
n i learnt a new skill!
read road directory! lolx..
dun think i sound stupid..
its not easy to read..
though they highlighted e routes for us..
i juz need to flip to e correct page..
but den telling e driver where n when to turn is not easy an easy job..
coz there's lots of small roads..
so happy!
so most of e time i sat infront..

there's still many things to share..
but too much so shall not say anymore..
juz wan to say tt i rly enjoyed myself alot..
though they r all uncles n aunties..
but i must say sth..
who say there's generation gap?!
at least we proved tt wrong..
e 3 of us had so much fun thru out..
talking w them seniors rly fun n motivating..
they r v nice ppl..
joking ard w us..
n finally got to go out w aaron n wendy agn rly..
last tm in sec sch we used to go out tgt often..

okiez anw..
aft e cycling thing ard 5am..
we decided to go aaron's house to watch deathnote..
haiyo so long still haven watch..
but den halfway i was too tired..
den fell aslp..
but woke up agn to cont watching..
still i managed to finish it la..
but missed a whole chunk in btw. haha..
ard 8am went to slp until 1.30pm..
i got 8 missed call by my parents..
haiyo felt so bad..
they were so worried..
den 4 plus went rivervale mall to eat lunch/dinner i dunno..
den went back home..

tt's hw i spent my whole 26hrs..
maybe it does not sound interesting..
but i noe in my heart it is..
cycling ard Singapore(though i was in e car like 19/20 of e time)..
is rly a lifetime experince..
if there's a chance..
i wan to go agn next yr..
yeah i love nchs! haha..
